Geotechnical Engineering
- As a geotechnical engineer, you work to solve design problems related to earth materials (minerals, rocks, soil, and water).
- Examples of facilities in the earth are tunnels, building foundations, and pipelines for water or sewage. Highways and buildings are facilities that are supported by the earth.
